Yes, my site looks like it's from the MySpace era.
I primarily used this site to learn how to implement functionality with just vanilla JS (in an effort to not rely on npm packages).
For instance, all the routing is handled with vanilla JS. It is a combination of server and client-side rendering and has helped me understand what SSR vs CSR really means.
The authentication/authorization system is also all 'hand-written'. It's not very robust but it's enough for a simple website.
I also use this website to store info I find useful, such as cooking recipes, proper form for exercises, or anything I might forget if I don't use it for a long time.
My goal: eventually be able to create websites for small businesses for cheap --- cheaper than WP (which can cost a lot depending on the package and addons you want). This would allow extremely small businesses (young entrepreneurs, testing the waters, etc.) to have an online presence without spending upwards of $600 a year on a simple website.
